What can you learn about me from this website that you can’t learn from Google?

I’ve spent my entire career working with and for nonprofit organizations and have developed deep bench strength in the areas that make nonprofits unique.  I’m passionate about organizational effectiveness because I know nonprofits don’t have the financial luxury to be ineffective or inefficient. I’m driven to help our sector solve its internal challenges– and I’m excited to partner with you to address whatever issues your organization faces.

In my spare time, I spend a lot of time on a bike–either teaching Spinning classes or road or mountain biking..  I love to dance, enjoy exploring the Midwest’s food and wine scene, and cross-stitch in my quiet time. I live in Oak Park with my husband, two kids, and two cats.

Why did I start Sevah Consulting?

I was inspired to start Sevah Consulting after I saw several nonprofits struggling to cope with major changes in the organization’s leadership and approach.  I realized just how hard it can be for nonprofits to navigate transitions and how long it can take for them to recover if it doesn’t go smoothly. I want to help NPOs navigate those transitions more easily and work in service of those serving others.
